WHO WE ARE
Launched in 2018, Cocina Rx is a healthy meal service and education company based in Chicago. We help individuals in under-served neighborhoods gain access to healthy foods by preparing nutritional to-go meals ready for pick-up. Cocina Rx is run by parent company FoodHe.ro and sets forth to empower individuals to take control of their health through the “food as medicine” industry.
OUR MISSION
Our goal at Cocina Rx is to improve the overall health of individuals with chronic illness that live in under-served neighborhoods. We’re creating a resource for individuals to learn how to develop a healthier immune system and reverse chronic conditions. We believe through the use of health education and access to nutritional meals we will leave a lasting impact on the overall well-being and livelihood of each community we serve.
